"Members training in my clubs created the Traditional Taekwondo Association because they were dissatisfied with the standards of practice of the various national bodies that we were under. They were proud and keen to maintain the standards that we had achieved and wished to keep this identity. The rest, as they say, is history."

Grandmaster T K Loh
9th Dan

Alan Brown - 4th Dan

I am extremely competitive, I loved competing and competitions. To be truthful i started Taekwoondo to learn to fight but Taekwondo has taught me that the only person you need to compete with is the person you were yesterday.

I truly believe my instuctors (Robert Gray and Grandmaster Loh) along with the Tenents of Taekwondo have shaped me to be the person I am today and to be able to pass this on to my own students is a privilege.

Hugh Steele - 4th Dan

Camaraderie and the good people I've met through tkd. Also the constant pursuit on knowledge aided by my seniors and classmates.

Jeff Scobie - 3rd DAN

I enjoy passing on to students the lessons I have gained from Taekwondo.  -  Courtesy, Respect, Self discipline, Confidence. The ultimate goal as an instructor for me  is seeing the students  grow from shy little kids to confident mature students and this will follow them through their journey in life and one day they'll click and say I'm glad I listened to my instructors.

Alan Christie - 1st DAN

My favourite thing in taekwondo is watching young students grow and succeed.
